Juliann Kelley, B.Bok Bags and Artist, Michelle Lynn have joined creative forces to bring you an exclusive new line of Diva handbags entitled The Diva Art Collection by Michelle Lynn. Ms. Lynn is an award winning artist with collectors throughout the United States and Europe. Her love of color has been a constant inspiration throughout her creative endeavors.
In partnering with Ms. Kelley, she has expanded beyond the traditional two dimensional painting surface and taken her beautiful paintings off their stretchers to be hand crafted into colorful, functional handbags. Ms. Lynn has been painting since her hands were big enough to hold a paint brush. Her formal education comes from The Kansas City Art Institute, Kansas City, MO; Otis Parsons, Los Angeles, CA; and Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY. Healthy doses of life experiences round out her unique approach to painting. Allowing herself the freedom of listening to the guidance of her creative muse, she rarely knows what a painting is going to look like before she picks up a brush. Often, what she sees in her mind before beginning a painting is simply the color she’s supposed to work with, the size of the canvas and a specific paint brush. Once her palette of color is created, she begins with faithful strokes and is guided into the creative expressions you see on her canvases.
